The role of Content Management is to drive the strategy for content design and development for all assigned market segments, and to ensure that IGT releases top performing, market-leading content. The demand for content comes from across the organization and customer base, and each market segment has its own diverse set of requirements and complexities.
The UK/EMEA Content Manager will create, develop, initiate, and maintain the content strategy and roadmap across assigned product lines and customers based on target market demands working as the lead for the UK and other European markets. The position will work closely with the global content lead to ensure overall content planning alignment across all markets.
This position will need to closely collaborate with business leaders across the organization to create and execute the content strategy and may also work with 3rd party content providers to complement the internal offering.

Key Activities

  • Create, develop, and initiate Content strategy for assigned segments across the brand and its customer base
  • Become the subject matter expert on game content and rgs platform
  • Write, support, and execute Content roadmaps, encompassing internal developments as well as 3rd party content complementing internal deployments
  • Provide thought leadership around gaming and the gaming market, including competitive analysis and trends
  • Coordinate with Content and Development teams on innovation processes and new game concepts
  • Work intimately with Games Producers to ensure games in development are market relevant and meet business requirements
  • Engage both Operators and Players in focus tests and market validation for target markets
  • Develop familiarity with data and ability to work with Analytics team to assist in game development and to recognise target market trends
  • Ensure that target markets are identified and understood by development departments in order to meet all jurisdictional requirements
  • Lead portfolio selection and release planning in target markets to optimise revenue based on performance trends and local behaviours
  • Support sales efforts and act as subject matter expert on content roadmap with key customers
  • Support new market growth opportunities by evaluating content release strategies and assessing  RFP/RFIs for risk and feasibility

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in gaming industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a business, technical or creative field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience working in a strategic position with a focus on real money gaming
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with excellent communication, writing, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated business savvy, accountability, transparency, and integrity
  • Has a long-standing passion for playing games of multiple genres and a solid background in slots and casino games
  • Demonstrates outstanding data analysis and presentation skills
  • Must have strong written communication skills
  • Works well with creative conflict in a consensus-based, collaborative environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with engineering, art, production and business personnel
  • Deep understanding of the gaming market, player behaviors, and trends, particularly in the UK and other European markets

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working at large companies with global footprint and wide product offerings
  • Familiarity with IGT content a plus
  • Knowledge of the differences between the key online gaming markets a plus, specifically the UK and EMEA, plus specialty lottery markets such as Italy and Norway
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and passion for online and land-based casino games across multiple content providers
