We are seeking a Chef Manager with previous restaurant management experience.  Responsibilities will include:

 

·        Managing a staff of 4 - 6 line personnel

·        Setting staff work schedules and monitoring staff performance

·        Creation of daily menus, vendor selection and ordering

·        Maintaining inventory, monitoring revenues, and controlling costs

·        Directing and assisting of food preparation and serving to assure company standards are maintained

·        Monitor employee position objectives along with encouraging employee development

·        Complete and conduct employee performance appraisals

·        Develop and maintain positive relationships with all food and beverage staff and customers alike

·        Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), provincial regulations and internal health and safety policies and procedures

·        Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

The ideal candidate has a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Restaurant Management or related, and  5+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager or Cafeteria Supervisor.
