This position is responsible for supporting key business drivers across Lottery Marketing, collaborating across disciplines including the North American and International Lottery Operations & Marketing teams.  In support of our global customer base, they will be a proactive team member who consistently seeks out information on what is relevant for our global customers base.   Based on insights, this person will coordinate the execution of key initiatives for MarCom, including but not limited to development of case study information that can be used for development of white papers, trade publication articles, business proposals and presentation efforts to advance IGT’ s position as the Industry Leader in the Lottery.  This person will also support the development of case studies for the Lottery product execution, particularly as they relate to development of WLA opportunities.  This may include development of product content materials to support sales and knowledge sharing opportunities with customers.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forward thinking customer advocate who creates B2B materials based on evidence of product deployments in the field to demonstrate IGT industry leadership position.  This includes case studies for current product deployments as well as content that demonstrates IGT thought leadership position to support overall IGT brand.
  • This includes a complete analysis of a project or product deployment that identifies a situation/challenge, the recommended solution and subsequent implementation actions, and identification of those factors that contributed to failure or success.  Material should include ROI and sales analysis where available.
  • Material to be used as references in trade publications, articles, presentations at trade shows, conferences and customer facing materials as well as business proposals that help to elevate the IGT brand in the mind of our customers.
  • Assist IGT in building a competitive edge through development of materials that can be used by the Operations and Sales team to cultivate stronger relationships with customers and differentiate our products and product deployments to potential customers.
  • Needs to become deeply knowledgeable with Customer Satisfaction Survey results in order to make recommendations on areas of opportunity and focus based on customer feedback.
  • Responsible for outreach to Operations and Product Management teams to obtain details on case study deployments including but not limited to:  number of units/locations, marketing and communications support strategies, promotions, education and sales data. Case studies can be developed in various mediums to assist with increasing customer advocacy (including referrals, testimonials, references, etc.), identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and increasing loyalty and retention to IGT.
  • Provide product feedback given by advocates to the Product Management team
  • Develop case study templates to be used and manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories
  • Responsible for collaboration with Proposals to ensure consistency of brand articulation across case-study and internal knowledge database documentation, including but not limited to customer business proposals. 
  • Take the lead in proactively obtaining content and developing case studies to support overall IGT Product and brand messaging and communications to provide comprehensive unified approach to our overall Strategic Marketing plan inclusive of sales collateral, statistics and case study information with the goal of educating customers on the benefits and features of our products & services and how they have been designed to grow sales and revenue.
  • Understand customer demands and competitor positioning in order to ensure we are consistently meeting the needs of our customers from a communications perspective.
  • Brings innovative thinking and marketing practices to all marketing activities.


  • Minimum education: BA/BS or the equivalent
  • Minimum of five years of marketing communications or the equivalent related experience
  • Strong passion for serving and understanding customers
  • Interpersonal skills to help them nurture customer relationships and work with cross-funcitonalwork with cross-functional teams
  • Incredibly creative marketing and communication skills
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts
  • Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience
