Job Location:  This is a longer-term TEMPORARY POSITION FOR APPROXIMATELY TWELVE (12) MONTHS. This position will cover territory in Northwestern Minnesota - anywhere from Detroit Lakes to the Canadian border.

 

Job Description:
Provide entry level maintenance, installation and service of IGT equipment at retailer (customer) locations.  Respond to dispatches and drive company vehicle to retailer locations within assigned territory to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.

Overall Purpose and Objective:

  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, preventive maintenance and installation of lottery equipment and communication devices at lottery retailer locations.
  • Interface at basic level with third-party communication network provider to effectively troubleshoot communication problems at lottery retailer locations.
  • Follow company policies to accurately confirm, accept and close service calls via automated dispatch system.
  • Appropriately document service activity according to site policy. Document retailer installations, changes and removals.
  • Properly package and ship defective self-service equipment to central repair facility.
  • Accurately maintain, stock and document equipment and parts inventory per site policy.

     

Requirements:

  • Must have clean motor vehicle record to operate company vehicle.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check requirements for IGT and Minnesota State Lottery.
  • Must pass pre-placement drug screen, medical exam, and evaluation of ability to perform physical job functions per company policy.
  • High school degree or GED equivalent required.
  • 1 or more years of experience in a customer service related position.
  • 1 or more years of experience in technical repairs.
